Ziya by Z was not built overnight. It was built with intention.
Zayneb Azzam founded Ziya by Z after a decade of working in the Egyptian beauty and fashion industry — long enough to understand exactly what was missing. She watched women across Egypt search for high-quality cosmetics that genuinely worked on their skin tones, fit their budgets, and made them feel like the products were made for them. Most of the time, they came up empty.
So she built it herself.
Over two years, Zayneb immersed herself in every detail of the brand — researching the Egyptian cosmetics market, sourcing the finest ingredients, testing formulas on real women with warm, olive, and medium skin tones, and refining every product until it met the standard she had set. The result was a range of creamy Blush Sticks, sculpting Contour Sticks, nourishing Lip Oils, and high-shine Lip Glosses that were developed specifically for the Egyptian and MENA woman — not adapted for her, but built around her from the very beginning.
For Zayneb, Ziya by Z was never just about makeup. It was about creating a brand that sees women — that celebrates their individuality, honours their confidence, and gives them tools to show up exactly as they are. Every product that carries the Ziya name was tested, approved, and worn by Zayneb herself. If it does not meet her standard, it does not carry the brand.
